5:00 PM - 3:00 PM Next DayJoin us for a fun-filled weekend of discussions and our annual Cholent Cook-Off with Adina Miles-Sash!
Adina Miles-Sash, known publicly as FlatbushGirl, is a Brooklyn-based advocate for Orthodox women and agunot, focused on cases of gett-refusal, coercive control, and religiously sanctioned abuse. Through a high-pressure approach that blends halachic strategy, legal advocacy, and public exposure, she has helped secure freedom for over 42 agunot. She is also a whistleblower on the systematic erasure of Orthodox women, including the exclusion of women’s faces and voices from communal life. She holds an MA in Medieval Literature and volunteers as an EMT with Ezras Nashim, the first all-female ambulance corps. A vocal advocate for LGBTQ inclusion within Orthodoxy, she is currently working on a documentary. Married for 20 years, she is the mother of two sons and two Persian cats.
