Following are just a few of the exciting programs offered by Beth Sholom
| |
Holiday Programming.
- Just as most Jewish holidays have an element of food to
them, so do your holiday programs! Whether is is a
Simchat Torah luncheon, a Shavuot ice cream party, an
Erev Pesach dinner, a break-the-fast, the food is always
equaled by the camaraderie and lively conversation. Check this section of the website for specific information about holidays at CBS
Shabbat at Beth Sholom
-
At Beth Sholom Shabbat is more than "just" a day of rest -
it is a day of Community. Our warm and welcoming environment
makes fellow congregants into true friends. After davening,
we linger at our weekly kiddush before leaving to share our
Shabbat tables with each other. Spend a Shabbat with us and
you too will experience the warm feeling of Shabbat in
Providence.
Youth Programming
-
Our shul offers a weekly Shabbat program for children of all ages, and the monthly PJ library event for children ages newborn-6. In addition, during Teen Shabbatonim we sit back and relax while we invite our teens to take over the shul from kabbalat Shabbat to havdala – a wonderful opportunity to inspire our teens.
Childcare is available during our Shabbatonim and Social programs
Social Programming
-
We can’t all be serious all the time! This is why the shul also has social events that bring us together in a context of fun and frolic. Softball games that raise money for Magen David Adom, Wine and Cheese nights, Movie Nights that show movies like Arranged and Yiddish Theater: A Love Story.
