Membership
Here at CBS, membership is about much more than simply joining a Synagogue in order to receive benefits. Membership is a way to help signal your support for our community, and help us to continue to provide the valuable communal services we've become known for. From daily and weekly services to classes and social programming, joining CBS is a great way to show your support for our programming and activities. To request more information, please contact the Office.
Benefits of Joining Today:
Availability of Clergy
Our members regularly meet with Rabbi Dolinger to discuss topics ranging from Jewish law to important life events and decisions. Rabbi Dolinger is warm, friendly, and is happy to meet with members to be of service in any way he can.
Services
Membership helps support our services, a staple of CBS. On Shabbat, our spirited and musical evening services, along with our well-attended Shabbat-morning service (followed by a kiddush each week) provide a warm home for the observance of Jewish ritual, and allow members to pray, study, and form lasting friendships.
High Holy Day Services
At CBS, we're known for our moving and uplifting High Holiday services. From Rabbi Dolinger's practical and insightful sermons to the moving tunes and melodies of our talented guest Cantor, Dr. Stuart Rappaport, CBS is truly the place to be during the High Holidays. Members are entitled to seats free of charge!

Throughout the year, CBS runs many exciting special events. These include movie night, wine tastings, game night, scholars-in-residence, special Shabbat and holiday meals, an annual picnic, and more.
